Adirondack Theatre Festival Producing Artistic Director, Chad Rabinovitz, announces the fourth and final show of the season, Beau, by Douglas Lyons & Ethan D. Pakchar. The show runs August 3 - 9, 2019 at the Charles R. Wood Theater in Downtown Glens Falls, NY. The leading professional theatre in the Capital Region, ATF wraps up a successful 25th season with Beau at the Charles R. Wood Theater.

Composing team Douglas Lyons (Beautiful) and Ethan D. Pakchar's latest musical, Beau, will bow at The Adirondack Theatre Festival August 3-9th.

Max Crumm (You're The One That I Want) and Natasha Yvette Williams (Waitress) will star in a private industry reading of Douglas Lyons's new family comedy Chicken & Biscuits. Directed by Zhailon Levingston (Neptune), the full cast includes Danny Johnson (Daredevil, Luke Cage, Gotham), Pat Bowie (The Trip to Bountiful), Gayle Turner (The Wiz), Akira Golz (Matilda), Alana Raquel Bowers (What to Send Up, When it Goes Down), and Justin Sams (When We Rise).

The Frank Silvera Writers' Workshop will present Douglas Lyons's new family comedy Chicken & Biscuits Monday May 13th at 7pm; at The Billie Holiday Theatre. Chicken & Biscuits, written in residence at The Directors Company, has previously been selected and performed in the Front Porch Reading Series and Queen Theatre's 2019 New American Voices Reading Series.

Beginning January 20th, 2019, award-winning musical theatre composer and singer-songwriter, Drew Gasparini will produce and host a brand new live concert series at Rockwood Music Hall (Stage 3) in New York City showcasing local writers and performers.

Everyday Inferno Theatre Company is thrilled to present the world premiere of QUICKSAND, adapted from Nella Larsen's novel by Regina Robbins and directed by Anais Koivisto. QUICKSAND begins performances on Saturday, December 1 for a limited engagement through Saturday, December 15. Press Opening is Monday, December 3 at 7:30 PM.

Pigeonholed theater company opens their 2018/19 season with the classic play, Mary Stuart, written in 1800 by Friedrich Schiller. The production features a thrilling new version written by British playwright Mike Poulton. Artistic Director Justin Cimino directs an all-female cast of ten actors performing nearly twenty roles.

My Parsifal Conductor opens tonight and is a limited engagement through November 3 at the Marjorie S. Deane Theater at the West Side YMCA (5 W. 63rd St).

The Kesselring Prize, the annual $25,000 award to a rising U.S. playwright, will be given this year to the James Ijames, it has been announced by The National Arts Club, which has bestowed this prestigious honor since 1980. 

Amas Musical Theatre (Donna Trinkoff, Artistic Producer) in celebration of its 50thseason, will present The Algonquin Kid, a musical revue about growing up in the Algonquin Hotel, written by Michael Colby.
