INTO THE WOODS With A 21st Century Twist Comes To Cockpit Theatre

After a sold-out run in 2014, All Star Productions - Winner of the Best Producer in the Off-West End Awards 2018 - team up with Trilby Productions and The Cockpit to stage a fresh new adaptation of James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods.  Directed by Tim McArthur, this production has been given a 21st century twist that promises to both enchant and thrill.  This darkly comic masterpiece invites audiences to journey into the middle of the forest where well-known fairy tales interweave to create a magical world.  

Rhymes With Opera Presents RUMPELSTILTSKIN

Rhymes With Opera, the NYC-based ensemble of performers and composers recently featured on the cover of Opera News, will present their 10th-Anniversary mainstage production, the world premiere of the chamber opera Rumpelstiltskin, in four performances on May 11, 12, 18, and 19, 2018 at the 124 Bank Street Theatre in the West Village.

Deaf West/Broadway Spring Awakening and Big River stars, AMELIA HENSLEY, ALEXANDRIA WAILES & MELISSA VAN DER SCHYFF, reunite for this groundbreaking original musical centering on a Deaf heroine, to be directed by Drama Desk nominee KIM WEILD (Fetes De La Nuit, Soot and Spit) with Artistic Sign Language by ALEXANDRIA WAILES (Children Of A Lesser God, currently on Broadway).

Tacoma Little Theatre Presents THE PILLOWMAN

Tacoma Little Theatre presents the dark comedy, The Pillowman, by Martin McDonagh, the Oscar winning author/director of Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing, Missouri.  This production is directed by Blake York.

Rose Theatre Kingston Announces 2018 Christmas Show HANSEL & GRETEL

Rose Theatre Kingston today announces its 2018 Christmas show, a festive new version with original music of the Brothers' Grimm classic Hansel & Gretel written by Ciaran McConville, who returns to the theatre following last year's successful adaptation of Alice in Winterland. Rosie Jones will direct a cast of local young actors from Rose Youth Theatre led by a team of professional actors. The production opens on Friday 14 December, with previews from Thursday 6 December, and runs until Sunday 6 January 2019.

Cincinnati Playhouse's RAPUNZEL Offers Fairy Tale, Friendship And Female Empowerment

Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park's Off the Hill production of RAPUNZEL will begin touring community centers around the region beginning April 6. A charming adaptation of the beloved fairy tale, the production travels from Oxford to Columbia Tusculum to Covington, and other places in between, before it closes May 20.

Celebrate the 80th Anniversary Of Disney's SNOW WHITE at El Capitan

The El Capitan Theatre presents "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" celebrating the film's 80th Anniversary from February 2 to 7, 2018.  Snow White herself will make a live appearance on stage before every show.  Legendary Disney Producer Don Hahn ("Beauty and the Beast," "The Lion King") will be in person at The El Capitan Theatre on Saturday, February 3 to introduce the film at 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
