The 87th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade, the largest Christmas celebration in America, announces that Entertainment Tonight's Nancy O'Dell has been named the Grand Marshal for this year's landmark anniversary event. Presented and produced by Associated Television International, the live parade which happens in association with The City of Los Angeles, is taped for network television, and will take place on Hollywood Boulevard on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. The parade's telecast will be hosted by Erik Estrada, Laura McKenzie, Dean Cain and Montel Williams, with special co-hosts Elizabeth Stanton and Garrett Clayton. The event will include live musical performances (to be announced) that will take place on two stages; featuring The Marine Toys For Tots.
In light of the recent devastation caused by Hurricane Florence, Brother Jimmy's Murray Hill (181 Lexington Ave.) will be hosting a relief fundraiser on Oct. 3 from 7PM - 9PM. Partnering with North Carolina State University, a $10 donation will be made at the door on the day of the event, allowing attendees access to an open bar (inclusive of frozen margaritas, house brand liquors, Coors Light Drafts, Pabst Blue Ribbons, Natural Lights and a variety of wine). All of the proceeds raised at this event will be donated to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina as well as the American Red Cross.
