Legendary, multi-award winning actress/singer Betty Buckley returns to Café Carlyle, March 10 a?" 21. Her career spans theater, film, television and concert halls around the world. She's received a sea of accolades including a Tony Award for her performance as Grizabella, the Glamour Cat, in Andrew Lloyd Webber's CATS. She's a 2012 Theatre Hall of Fame inductee, and the 2017 recipient of the Julie Harris Award from The Actor's Fund for Artistic Achievement. Betty Buckley just completed a national tour of the new Broadway production of Hello, Dolly! produced by Scott Rudin.

Ridgewood Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company is excited to announce our Fall 2018 production of Another Mikado, adapted and directed by Allison Benko, whose recent credits include assistant directing the Tony Award-winning production of Oslo at Lincoln Center Theater. In response to the growing debate of how to present the Gilbert & Sullivan classic, The Mikado, in today's society, we hope to present the various sides of this debate in a new theatrical work inspired by the original The Mikado. After a series of workshops in the spring and summer, Another Mikado will run in November 2018 in various locations throughout the tri-state area.

Writer and performer Amy Marcs pairs up with Avon 39 The Walk to End Breast Cancer for a special benefit performance of her critically acclaimed one-woman comedy, "Nice T!ts" at The PIT (123 E 24 Street, NYC) on Thursday, August 10 at 8:00p.m. A percentage of ticket sales will be donated to Avon 39 The Walk to End Breast Cancer. The performance will be followed by an exclusive after show talk-back, featuring a representative from Avon, esteemed breast cancer plastic surgeon Doctor Nolan Karp, and Breast Oncology surgeon Doctor Karen Hiotis (both of NYU Langone Cancer Center).
