James Beaman has come out of retirement but he has also come out as a cabaret artist working under his own name and persona in an extremely personal nightclub act.

The Roald Dahl Story Company, Leeds Playhouse and Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre have announced the full cast for the world premiere of their snaptastic musical extravaganza, featuring a menagerie of puppets, toe-tapping tunes and mischievous audience interaction.    

The Center for Fiction and Theatre Communications Group will co-present Story/Teller Arts: James Ijames on Fat Ham in conversation with Jonathan McCrory, Artistic Director of the National Black Theatre, on October 31 at 7pm ET at The Center for Fiction.

After a sold-out appearance in 2022, audience favorite Takács Quartet returns to BroadStage on Friday, November 17 at 7:30 pm with an exquisite program of the Haydn String Quartet No. 63 in B-flat Major “Sunrise”; Beethoven String Quartet No. 8 in E minor “Razumovsky”; and a newly commissioned work “Flow” from Los Angeles native and accomplished violist Nokuthula Ngwenyama.

Taylor Swfit has unveiled the re-recorded version of her Grammy-winning album '1989.' The album includes all 16 songs from the original deluxe album and five new songs 'From the Vault.' There are no collaborations on 'Taylor's Version' of '1989,' sticking with the original album's outline. Swift worked on the new vault tracks with Jack Antonoff.

Those were actually my words a few weeks ago when I saw Chris King, owner of Stickyz, post that a Foo Fighters Tribute band would be playing at his venue. Being a huge Foo Fighters fan, I stopped scrolling and checked out this post more closely.
