Broadway actor, performer and Academy Award Winner Celeste Lecesne (formerly James Lecesne) will have a workshop production of his newest solo play POOF! (Or What the Fairies Know) on October 27, 28, and 29th at 7:30 pm.

On one beach, across five centuries, best friends Oscar and Nell change costumes and try to change their lives, circumscribed by the gender restraints of the day. If all else fails, they will attempt to change the play.

The Village, A Disco Musical! is extending its hit engagement at Dixon Place after its first week of sell-out performances. Originally scheduled to run through Saturday, October 15, the production will add performances on Friday, October 21 and Saturday, October 22 at 7:30 PM.

The full list of directors is Sivan Battat, Dominic Colón, nicHi Douglas, Chika Ike, Cameron Knight, Rebecca Martinez, Jonathan McCrory, Jess McLeod, Keenan Tyler Oliphant, Erin Tripp and Elizabeth Van Dyke.

 The Obie Award-winning HERE announced that due to a positive COVID test within the company, all performances of Marie It’s Time have been cancelled through Saturday September 17, 2022. Performances will resume Wednesday September 21.

Her exit comes on the heels of the recent departure of Brenna Thomas, the company’s former Director of External Affairs, providing an opportunity for restructuring at the institution.
