Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers and commentators for media covering New York theatre announced today its award winners for the 2017-18 season in 27 categories.

The Drama League has announced, today, that Taylor Louderman, Ashley Park, andKate Rockwell - the three 'Plastics' from this season's production of Mean Girls - will co-host the 84th Annual Drama League Awards on Friday, May 18, 2018.

This is a cautionary interview...  Don't be fooled by the characters they play. The ladies of Mean Girls are tight, and we've got the proof!  Right before the show's whopping twelve Tony nominations rolled in earlier this week, BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge sat down with five of the coolest ladies on Broadway: Erika Henningsen, Taylor Louderman, Ashley Park, Kate Rockwell and Barrett Wilbert Weed.

Just yesterday the nominees flocked to the InterContinental New York Times Square Hotel, where they met with the press for the first time since getting the big news. The 2004 film "Mean Girls" was written by Tina Fey. Now a Broadway musical version of the film has earned a whopping 12 Tony nominations. Fey tells TODAY that she was at the gym when she got the news, and "I started crying in the middle of Equinox." More on this story here.

Continuing TODAY's 'Best of Broadway' week, Tina Fey is live on the TODAY plaza to introduce a performance by the cast of her Broadway musical 'Mean Girls,' which has received a dozen Tony nominations. Watch them perform a song from the show, 'Apex Predator.'

The Tony Awards Administration Committee met on April 27 for the fourth and final time this season to decide the eligibility of Broadway productions for the American Theatre Wing's 2018 Tony Awards®, presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing. The Tony Awards Administration Committee has been meeting all year to discuss the eligibility of the 2017-18 Broadway productions all leading up to Tuesdays big announcement... the Tony nominations.

According to Radar, Lindsay Lohan will attend Mean Girls on Broadway tomorrow night! The report says that the actress, who originated the now-iconic role of Cady Heron in the 2004 film Mean Girls, was not previously invited to see a performance of the recently-opened musical.
