On November 13, 2015 at 8:00PM, The New York Pops, led by Music Director Steven Reineke, will continue its 33rd season at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage with Sophisticated Ladies, featuring Montego Glover, Capathia Jenkins, and Sy Smith. The concert commemorates the centennial year of the birth of Billie Holiday and also celebrates other groundbreaking icons of American popular song, from Ella Fitzgerald to Sarah Vaughan to Dinah Washington.

On October 9, The New York Pops, led by Music Director Steven Reineke, opened its 33rd season at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage with My Favorite Things: The Songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein. The concert honored the duo's timeless work, which has captured the hearts of every generation of music lovers, and featured guest artists Sierra Boggess and Julian Ovenden (who replaced the previously announced Steven Pasquale), alongside Judith Clurman's Essential Voices USA. The second day of SAG-AFTRA's National Convention on Saturday began with a presentation by National Executive Director David White, which provided an update to convention delegates on the state of the union. The program, My Favorite Things: The Songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein, honors the beloved music of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II. On Friday, March 11 at 8:00 PM, Jeremy Jordan and Betsy Wolfe are featured with The New York Pops and Maestro Reineke in 42nd on 57th: Broadway Today, an evening of modern musical theater hits.

Clive Gillinson, Executive and Artistic Director, today announced Carnegie Hall's 2015-2016 season consisting of more than 170 concerts as well as wide-ranging education and community programs created by Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Institute.
