The Naples Players (TNP) is raising the curtain on an incredible new 66th theatre season with the ABBA Broadway musical hit Mamma Mia! to delight audiences this summer. The Naples Players and Mercedes-Benz of Naples presents Mamma Mia! June 26 - July 28, 2019 directed by Naples favorites Dawn Lebrecht Fornara with musical direction by Charles Fornara.

Due to popular demand, SpeakEasy Stage will proudly remount its acclaimed production of the Tony Award-winning musical FUN HOME for four weeks, June 8-30, 2019.

Palm Beach Dramaworks is delighted to announce that Michael Amico, the company's production manager and premier set designer, was honored by the Florida Professional Theatres Association (FPTA) with the Vic Award for being "one of Florida's most creative scenic designers" and in recognition of "his years of work in theatre production."

Cleveland Public Theatre (CPT) and The MetroHealth System present ENDependence, onstage at CPT June 13 through 15, followed by free performances in the community. ENDependence is directed by Molly Andrews-Hinders and Jaclyn Renee Vogel, and created by Molly Andrews-Hinders, John Dayo-Aliya, Christopher Johnston, and Jaclyn Renee Vogel.

Tiger Style! by Mike Lew, an outrageous and cutting satire of Asian-American identity, completes Olney Theatre Center's 81st season in the Mulitz-Gudelsky Theatre Lab (July 17 - August 18, 2019). The production is directed by the boundary-pushing director Natsu Onoda Power, who recently pulled off the rare feat of winning two Helen Hayes Awards (one for direction, one for design) in a single evening. Invited press night is Saturday, July 20 at 7:45pm.

Corkscrew Theater Festival is pleased to announce the mainstage casts for its third annual festival, which runs July 10-August 3 at the Paradise Factory (64 East 4th Street, Manhattan). The festival features four world premieres, four workshop productions, and four readings performed in repertory over four weeks, with 80 performances in all. As in past years, special attention has been given to theater makers who are developing work through tight-knit collaborations. Tickets are now on sale.

The OBIE Award-winning NAATCO, National Asian American Theatre Company, kicks off their 29th season with the World Premiere of Gordon Dahlquist's [Veil Widow Conspiracy]. Aneesha Kudtarkar directs a cast that will include Edward Chin-Lyn, Kimiye Corwin, Bruce McKenzie, David Shih, James Seol, Karoline Xu, and Aaron Yoo. This Off-Broadway limited engagement at Next Door at New York Theatre Workshop (79 East 4th Street) will begin performances Saturday June 8th with Opening Night set for June 15th (7pm).  Performances continue through July 6th only.

Today, Elmhurst Ballet School, the vocational school in association with Birmingham Royal Ballet, announces details of its annual summer shows. From 5th to 11th July 2019, 'Awakenings' will bring to life a diverse programme of dance by world leading guest choreographers, the school's artistic staff, and students whose talent shines in choreography as well as performance.

Each summer, the Warner Theatre Center For Arts Education offers three exciting opportunities for arts education and enrichment for young people ages 5-16, through the Summer Arts Program. Learn all about the ins and outs of theatre and have a chance to perform in one of our summer productions. Sessions are offered to ages 5-16 and begin on July 8.

The Warner Theatre has announced its final Main Stage production of the 2019-2020 Warner Stage Company season SOMETHING ROTTEN! The Stratford Festival of Ontario may be known first and foremost for mounting productions of Shakespeare's plays, but there are certain plays by the bard that only seem to come around once in a while. For example, HENRY VIII, a play written by William Shakespeare and John Fletcher, has only been performed three other times in the history of the Stratford Festival--the last one being in 2004. This season, director Martha Henry has created a production of this play that feels relevant and exciting. Stunning performances by Jonathan Goad and Irene Poole elevate it event further.

This summer Goodspeed Musicals will produce the heartwarming new musical Because of Winn Dixie. This touching tale based on the award-winning novel by Kate DiCamillo will run June 28 - September 1 at The Goodspeed in East Haddam, Conn.

Florida Studio Theatre (FST) announces its Summer Children's Theatre production, Off the Charts!, an original musical revue celebrating the universal language of music. Featuring family-friendly versions of songs from the past century, this brand-new show explores the power of popular music to make us think, feel, and connect across generations. With songs like "Hound Dog," "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun," and "Uptown Funk," this music revue is for children of all ages and their favorite grown-ups.

National New Play Network, the country's alliance of nonprofit theaters that collaborate in innovative ways to develop, produce, and extend the life of new plays, announces three new Rolling World Premiere productions opening this week. Grace McLeod's Herland concludes its Roll at Greenway Court in Los Angeles, CA (May 31 - June 23;); meanwhile, Ready Steady Yeti Go by David Jacobi also wraps up its Roll in California at Venice's Rogue Machine Theatre (June 1 - July 29). Across the country in Atlanta, GA, Jump by Charly Evon Simpson continues its Roll at Actor's Express (June 1 - June 23).

According to Deadline, the previously announced production of FBI Lovebirds: UnderCovers, set to run at the Mead Theatre, has been cancelled due to threats of violence.
