Fully Committed and Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus have been added to the UIS Performing Arts Center's upcoming events!

Torrington, CT - The Warner Theatre will be hosting a very special holiday fundraiser, PAWS & CLAUS, to benefit the Warner Theatre Center for Arts Education! Swing by the Studio Theatre on Sunday, December 1 from 12:00-2:00 pm to have your favorite furry friend's photo taken with Santa!

Cleveland Play House (CPH), takes audiences on a journey through grief, healing, falling in love, and (re)discovering all that life has to offer in Every Brilliant Thing, written by Duncan Macmillan with Jonny Donahoe. Performances run from November 23rd - December 22nd in the Helen Theatre at Playhouse Square. Directed by CPH Artistic Director Laura Kepley, he cast includes Tarah Flanagan and Alex Brightwell in alternating performances. Since 1991, when City Theatre moved to its current location on Bingham Street on the South Side, the production artisans behind the nearly 170 shows seen on its two stages during this time have endured a type-of performance of their own: nicknamed the 'City Theatre Shuffle,' scenery and props have been built, painted, assembled, and moved in disparate cramped spaces with poor lighting and limited assembly area. While boasting an impressive props collection, they are located, inconveniently, over a mile away. City's long-time Director of Production, Tony Ferrieri, has worked without a window in his basement office for 28 years.

Today, on World Kindness Day, The Old Vic announces a new partnership with a national literacy charity that works to provide high-quality one-to-one support to disadvantaged children. The Old Vic will work with Coram Beanstalk through staff volunteering, a potential reading scheme in the new Annex, and the charity will benefit from The Old Vic's bucket collections throughout A Christmas Carol 2019.

Lantern Theater Company continues its 2019/20 season with the Philadelphia premiere of The Last Match, a funny and moving drama from award-winning playwright Anna Ziegler. Lantern resident director M. Craig Getting directs a cast that includes Joanna Liao, Scott Miller, Lee Minora, and Matteo Scammell. Studio Theatre's production is frustrating since both the creative and acting components of this production are stellar. The real outrage is not what happens onstage, but what doesn't. And for that, the blame lies solely with the playwright Anchuli Felicia King.
