What better way to celebrate Valentine's Day weekend than with romantic songs sung in the indelible style of the "First Lady of American Song" Ella Fitzgerald?! Houston Symphony Principal POPS Conductor Steven Reineke and the Houston Symphony provide the passionate, musical answer to that question with the program The Ella Fitzgerald Songbook, 8 p.m. Feb. 15 & 16 and 7:30 p.m. Feb. 17.

The New York Pops, led by Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke, paid tribute to Nat King Cole's centennial with Unforgettable: Celebrating Nat King Cole and Friends on Friday, February 8 at Carnegie Hall.

In honor of Nat King Cole and the musical monarch's centennial The New York Pops will perform all the songs that made us fall in L-O-V-E with Nat King Cole at tonight's concert. The New York Pops, led by Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke, gives a concert entitled Movie Mixtape: Songs from the Silver Screen, on Friday, March 15 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall, joined by acclaimed vocalists Mykal Kilgore, Storm Large, Ashley Park, and Ryan Silverman. The orchestra performs iconic songs from beloved movies include 'Over the Rainbow' from The Wizard of Oz, 'Moon River' from Breakfast at Tiffany's, 'The Way We Were' from The Way We Were, and 'Footloose' from Footloose.

Returning after back-to-back sold out shows this past summer, Jana Robbins (Gypsy, I Love My Wife, The Tale of the Allergist's Wife) and Haley Swindal (Jekyll and Hyde, White Christmas, Sweeney Todd) will join forces again and return to Feinstein's/54 Below for two unforgettable evenings with "We Just Move On! - The Songs of Kander and Ebb." FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, Thursday, January 17th 2019, at 9:30 PM to present a one man concert-written and performed by singer, actor, and activist Gerardo Vallejo -highlighting the danger, absurdity, and fragile nature of toxic masculinity in our society. Interwoven with heartfelt personal life stories, A GENTLEMAN IN NEW YORK features songs from the musical theater cannon, the great American songbook, and top-40 pop classics-both new and old. New York City based composer/pianist Karl Hedrick serves as the Musical Director. Barrie Gelles serves as dramaturg and stage director.
