Broadway has found its next Evan Hansen! Producer Stacey Mindich just announced today that recording artist and actor Jordan Fisher will return to Broadway, joining the cast of the Tony Award- winning musical Dear Evan Hansen, playing the title role for a limited 16-week engagement, beginning Tuesday, January 28. Fisher succeeds Andrew Barth Feldman, who plays his final performance on Sunday, January 26.

Described by the Los Angeles Times as a 'cultural phenomenon,' Dear Evan Hansen comes to Dallas' Music Hall at Fair Park from November 26 - December 8, presented by Dallas Summer Musicals (DSM) and Broadway Across America (BAA). Today is a great day, and here's why: the Tony-winning hit musical Dear Evan Hansen is opening on London's West End! To celebrate the show making its way across the pond, the casts of the show's Broadway and national tour productions took to social media to send well wishes the new production's cast. It was amazing to see DEAR EVAN HANSEN with an enthusiastic audience. Many of the teens sang along with the show or at least mouthed the words as the performance played out. People were visibly touched by the situations and reduced to tears at several points. And yet I felt oddly removed from the experience, and kept wondering why.
