Following the resounding success of the inaugural Breaking the Binary Theatre Festival in 2022, Founding Artistic Director George Strus has announced Breaking the Binary Theatre.

On April 23, 2022, Cabaret 313 is inviting Broadway, movie and television actor Norm Lewis to Detroit to perform at the Garden Theater (3929 Woodward Ave, Detroit, Mich. 48201). Lewis will perform two shows, one at 6:30 p.m. and another at 8:45 p.m.

SPACE DOGS is the epic new musical, telling the mind-blowing true story of Laika and the Chief Designer — a stray dog and the top-secret Russian scientist, who sent her to space during the Cold War. Written and performed by Broadway’s Van Hughes and Nick Blaemire, this production is equal parts adventure and intrigue, while capturing the depths of human emotion and the immortal friendship between man and dog, as they journey together to the stars.

MCC Theater announced today that Space Dogs, a new musical written by and starring Van Hughes (Burn All Night) and Nick Blaemire (Glory Days) has been extended for a second time. Directed by Ellie Heyman (amfAR’s Angels in America), Space Dogs will now play through Sunday March 20, 2022 at MCC Theater (511 W 52nd Street New York, NY 10019).

MCC Theater announced today a one-week extension for Space Dogs, a new musical written by and starring Van Hughes (Burn All Night) and Nick Blaemire (Glory Days).

GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS will release the original cast album of the new musical Space Dogs on Friday, February 11. The show features music and lyrics by Van Hughes and Nick Blaemire, who also perform the show.

Space Dogs will begin previews at MCC Theater (511 W 52nd Street New York, NY 10019) on January 11, 2022 in the Susan & Ronald Frankel Theater. Directed by Ellie Heyman (amfAR’s Angels in America), Space Dogs will have an opening night on January 30, 2022 and play a limited run through February 20, 2022.
