New York's Broadway musical theatre training institute - The Open Jar Institute - is celebrating it's 10th Anniversary of providing high school and college students the opportunity to work one-on-one with Broadway's best professionals during a special master class with Susan Stroman today, August 2nd at The Pearl Theatre (555. W. 42nd Street) at 2:30pm.

MAMMA MIA!, the global smash hit musical based on the songs of ABBA, will transfer from the Winter Garden Theatre to the Broadhurst Theatre this fall. BroadwayWorld has conformed that the show will play its final performance at the Winter Garden on October 19. Peformances will begin at the Broadhurst on November 2.

Creator/Producer Judy Craymer has announced that MAMMA MIA!, the global smash hit musical based on the songs of ABBA, will transfer from the Winter Garden Theatre to the Broadhurst Theatre in late 2013.

Broadway's Eden Espinosa, Jane Monheit, and Christiane Noll performed 'Always' by Scott Alan in a tribute to Sandy Hook Elementary and the people of Newtown, Connecticut, from the Broadway and New York theatre community. Click below to watch.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This Thursday, December 20th, Broadway Sessions will celebrate the season with it's annual all- star holiday concert spectacular!!! Past Broadway Sessions guests return to the weekly musical theater themed night to sing their favorite holiday tunes.

The forum is free to attend, but requires reservations. Reservations can be made by calling the box office at (941) 366-9000.
