Broadway Sessions Hosts Annual All-Star Holiday Concert, 12/20
BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.
This Thursday, December 20th, Broadway Sessions will celebrate the season with it's annual all- star holiday concert spectacular!!! Past Broadway Sessions guests return to the weekly musical theater themed night to sing their favorite holiday tunes.
Scheduled to perform are Patrick Page (Spider-Man), Paige Davis (Chicago), Jaime Cepero (NBC's Smash), Russell Fischer (Jersey Boys), Jason Gotay (Bring It On), Angelo Rios, Katie Thompson and Rocio Del Mar Valles (Giant), Jason Michael Snow (The Book of Mormon), Coleen Sexton (Jekyll and Hyse, Forever Dusty), Eric Michael Krop (Godspell), Rachel Potter (Evita), Cody Scott Lancaster (Rock of Ages), Stacia Fernandez (Mamma Mia!), MJ Rodriguez (Rent), Corey Mach (Godspell), Bret Shuford (The Little Mermaid), Rachel Resheff (Mary Poppins), Carly Sakolove (I Hear Voices), Gerard Salvador (Mamma Mia!), Emma Hunton (Next to Normal), Allison Semmes (Book of Mormon), acoustic vocal trio Siren (Colleen Harris, Shanna Sharp and Lindsay Morgan), American Idol star David Hernandez and host Ben Cameron (Wicked).
The evening will feature special guest Musical Director Will Van Dyke (Addams Family, Kinky Boots), and audience members are encouraged to take part in an open mic party following the show till 2 am.
Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The Laurie Beechman Theater inside The West Bank Café located at 407 west 42nd street (corner of 42nd Street and 9th Avenue).
