Located in the heart of Times Square, Royal Family Productions is presenting a one-night-only, 'live concept album' concert performance of Serving Time, a new musical revue capturing the frantic, eclectic and eccentric world of restaurant life conceived by Michele Foor, who also wrote the lyrics, along with composers David Gaines, William TN Hall, Timothy Huang, Ryan Langer and Frank Spitznagel.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) announced the winners of the 2015 NYMF Awards for Excellence, which were awarded last night, July 27, 2015 at Urbo (11 Times Square). The full list of winners, plus photos from the ceremony, can be found below!

My favorite thing about attending NYMF is the fact that I truly never know what to expect from the works I see there. Walking into SINGLE WIDE, I was expecting a completely irreverent musical soiree along the lines of David Nehls and Betsy Kelso's THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK MUSICAL. Instead, I was treated to a nearly complete project with a heartwarming story that was as wholesome as it was entertaining.

Director/Choreographer Jeff Whiting (Bullets Over Broadway, The Scottsboro Boys) helms award winning new musical SINGLE WIDE, an uplifting and inspiring musical about one woman's determination to escape her tiny trailer park for a larger life, will run at The New York Musical Theatre Festival July 17 - July 25, 2015.  The production, with book and lyrics by George D. Nelson, and music and lyrics by Jordan Kamalu, will play five performances at the New York Musical Theater Festival. Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus' global smash hit musical MAMMA MIA!, inspired by the songs of ABBA, will now end its historic, record-breaking run on Broadway on Saturday, September 12, 2015, following 5,773 performances. (September 5 was the previously-announced closing date.)

A bevy of Broadway's best, including Kristin Chenoweth, Gavin Creel, Andrea Martin, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Helen Mirren, Matthew Morrison and more than 200 of Broadway and Off-Broadway's most talented performers, will come together this week for the 29th Annual Easter Bonnet Competition.
