Saint Petersburg's newest theater company, The Off-Central Players, launch into their next production, Miranda Rose Hall's Plot Points In Our Sexual Development. Director Staci Sabarsky, former artistic director of Innovocative Theatre, heads a powerhouse creative team through a beguiling exploration of gender, sex, and the risks of being vulnerable with the one you love.

After the successful run of its inaugural production, Rasheeda Speaking, The Off–Central Players first- ever season continues with Miranda Rose Hall's Plot Points In Our Sexual Development, directed by Staci Sabarsky. This love story between Cecily, a lesbian and a male-identified trans person Theo, want to be honest about their sexual histories, but what happens when telling the truth jeopardizes everything? 

LAB Theater Project and Innovocative Theatre have joined forces to once again bring live theater to the Tampa stage by presenting Glen Berger's Underneath the Lintel from September 24-27, 2020, at 812 E Henderson Avenue in Ybor City, with in-house and live streaming options.

In a country wrought with divisiveness, Innovocative Theatre is bringing A Shayna Maidel by Barbara Lebow to stage at Stageworks on January 10 a?' 19. Directed by Staci Sabarsky, starring Larry Corwin, Kristina Kourkoulos, Kayla Witoshynsky, Thomas Brown, Michele McCarty, and Sunshine Hughes, A Shayna Maidel is a tale of a Jewish family picking up the pieces of their lives and coming together, despite each person having traveled a different life path to be reunited after World War II in 1946.

Out of 18 entries, Jim Moss' THE COW SAYS, Brick Brickel's FOR THE LOVE OF MARY, and Deb Bostock-Kelley's ONCE UPON UHHH...stand out.

Set during the Great Depression in 1938, The Hundred Dresses is a play by based on the true experiences of the book author about a poor Polish girl named Wanda Petronski who is bullied by her classmates because she is different.

Though we condemned as a society the April 1999 massacre that left 15 dead and 21 wounded, school shootings across the United States have increased dramatically since then. The latest government figures show the dilemma has significantly worsened over the last two years: both the number of school shootings and the fatalities incurred in them more than doubled between 2017 and 2018. That total includes the 17 students and staff killed last February at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

Today, live shooter drills in elementary, middle and high school are as normal as fire drills, but twenty years ago, school shootings weren't commonplace. When Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris went on a shooting spree on April 20, 1999 at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado that killed 15 and injured 20, it became part of a history that we have yet to be able to escape, a division of 'Before Columbine' and 'After Columbine.' On January 10-20, Innovocative Theatre, known for their thought-provoking, edgy performances, will bring COLUMBINUS, a mixture of fact and fiction, to Stageworks. Leading an eight-person ensemble are Nick Hoop and Ryan Fisher in the roles of Eric and Dylan.

Written by Florida playwright Lindsey Ferrentino, Innovocative Theatre brings a searing drama to Stageworks Theatre. Ugly Lies the Bone tells the story of a severely wounded female war veteran in 2011 attempting to start a new life after a third tour in Afghanistan. She faces struggles after returning to her home in Titusville, Florida. She's endured intense pain from both her injuries and the surgeries that followed, and uses virtual reality therapy for pain management to begin to emotionally heal herself.
