Pepperdine Opera Program Presents LE NOZZE DI FIGARO

Members of the Flora L. Thornton Opera Program will perform Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro in Pepperdine University's Smothers Theatre at Pepperdine University on Thursday, February 24 and Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. at the Lisa Smith Wengler Center for the Arts.

Casting Announced For Concept Album of New Musical FOR TONIGHT

A new concept album has been announced for the original new bilingual musical FOR TONIGHT, with a cast of West End musical theatre actors and a full Welsh ensemble, which will be released on all digital platforms (Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon etc) in Summer 2021.

Season 1 of MUSICALS WITH IMPACT Podcast Now Streaming

The inaugural season of Musicals With Impact, hosted by Spencer Williams,  launched on all major podcast streaming platforms on Wednesday, January 8th, 2021. Musicals With Impact celebrates new, culture-shifting musicals and gives a much-needed voice to their creators as they pursue their journey to Broadway.

Fountain Theatre Streams 12-Part THE GAZE...NO HOMO

The Gaze... No Homo will begin streaming on Friday, Nov. 20, with episodes four, five and six going online Friday, Nov. 27; episodes seven, eight and nine on Friday, Dec. 4; and the final three episodes becoming available on Friday, Dec. 11.

Cincinnati Pops Orchestra to Release Latest Album, American Originals: 1918 on Today

The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra announced the November 9 release of its latest album, American Originals: 1918, under the direction of Pops Conductor John Morris Russell. The recording is inspired by America's cultural awakening at the end of the First World War one hundred years ago and the distinctly American musical styles that reflect the country's diversity. This album celebrates and reimagines popular songs of this era that remain fresh and relevant today with acclaimed musical collaborators including Rhiannon Giddens, Steep Canyon Rangers and Pokey LaFarge. The 95th Cincinnati Pops album was recorded live at Cincinnati Music Hall November 10- 12, 2017, and is being released on the Orchestra's label, Fanfare Cincinnati.
