BAFTA Film Awards Announces Further Appearances From Leslie Odom, Jr., Liam Payne, and More!

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has announced further details for this year’s EE British Academy Film Awards Weekend taking place across 10 and 11 April at the Royal Albert Hall including awards presenters confirmed to take part, musical performances and special appearances across both nights by BAFTA President, HRH The Duke of Cambridge.

Judi Dench to Receive Golden Icon Award at the Zurich Film Festival

Academy Award-®winning actress Judi Dench will receive the Golden Icon Award on October 3. Dench will also present her latest film, RED JOAN, a drama inspired by the life of Melita Norwood, in which she plays a woman whose tranquil life is suddenly disrupted when she's arrested by MI5 and accused of providing intelligence to Communist Russia. Dench will present the film alongside co-star Sophie Cookson, who plays Young Joan.

BWW Review: KILLER JOE, Trafalgar Studios

After spending several months as the Trafalgar Fair, a Texas trailer park takes root at Trafalgar Studios as a new production of Tracy Letts' Killer Joe begins its run. It is directed by Simon Evans, who previously helmed a production of Letts' Bug at the short-lived venue Found111 - the show also marks the return of Orlando Bloom to the London stage, starring alongside Steffan Rhodri, Neve McIntosh, Sophie Cookson and Adam Gillen.
