A new entertainment company, Second Half Productions, has been launched today by Jeremy Herrin, Alan Stacey and Rob O'Rahilly. It will bring together world-leading artists to create innovative work for both stage and screen.

An exclusive live theatre event to celebrate the publication of 50 Women In Theatre at Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, Shakespeare's Globe will be presented on Sunday 3 October 2021 at 6pm.

Zions Bank Broadway at the Eccles has announced the First National Tour of Mean Girls—the record-breaking new musical comedy produced by Lorne Michaels, Stuart Thompson, Sonia Friedman, and Paramount Pictures based on the hit film—will be coming to the Eccles Theater from November 30 to December 5, 2021 as part of the 2021–2022 Broadway Season.

Previewing at the Apollo Theatre from 16 April 2022 with the opening night on 28 April 2022, Jerusalem will run until 6 August 2022.  There will be over 800 seats at £15 or under each week across the house throughout the run with additional education rates of £25 per student ticket.

Featured in the film are interviews with some of today’s most influential playwrights, directors, choreographers, performers and producers such as Alexandra Billings, David Henry Hwang, Oskar Eustis, Nicholas Hytner, Jack O’Brien, George C. Wolfe, and more.

The National Theatre has today announced the latest productions to be made available on its National Theatre at Home streaming platform.

TheaterWorks Hartford will present the North American premiere of Amy Berryman’s debut play, Walden. Directed by Mei Ann Teo (Jillian Walker’s SKiNFoLK: An American Show) and taking place on a natural, undeveloped site along the Connecticut River, the production marks a return to in-person events for TheaterWorks Hartford.

After returning from a year-long Moon mission, Cassie, a NASA botanist, finds herself in a remote cabin in the woods, where her estranged twin sister, Stella, a former NASA architect, has found a new life with climate activist Bryan. Old wounds resurface as the sisters attempt to pick up the pieces of the rivalry that broke them apart.

Tickets for the West End production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child are currently available for performances at the Palace Theatre until 27 March 2022 and remain priced from £15 per part, and for every performance there are over 300 tickets at £20 or less per part. 

The Shark is Broken reveals the hilarious and moving behind-the-scenes drama on one of Hollywood's all-time biggest blockbusters, Steven Spielberg's Jaws.  The play is co-written by Robert Shaw's son Ian, who also plays his father, and Joseph Nixon.
