Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has released family portraits of the Potters, the Granger-Weasleys and the Malfoys in advance of the new Company’s first performance on 13 October 2022.  

The critics are weighing in on Leopoldstadt, Tom Stoppard's Olivier Award-winning Best New Play, directed by two-time Tony Award nominee Patrick Marber. The new play opens on Broadway tonight, Sunday, October 2 at the Longacre Theatre.

The Old Vic and Sonia Friedman Productions just celebrated opening night of Eureka Day, the European premiere production of Jonathan Spector's multi award-winning play at The Old Vic, directed by Katy Rudd (The Ocean at the End of the Lane, Camp Siegfried).

Additional casting has been announced for the new Broadway company of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child who begin performances at New York's Lyric Theatre on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. Beginning October 3rd, tickets will be on sale through September 3, 2023. The cast includes 16 actors making their Broadway debut.

The five-strong cast features real-life best friends Bronté Barbé (Kathy) and Rebekah Hinds (Stella) in the title roles, playing Hull’s least successful true crime podcasters Kathy Baxter and Stella Carmichael.

The new reimagined production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child opened last Thursday at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre.

The all-Canadian cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is now ensconced in the newly re-modelled CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre where they are in the midst of technical rehearsals in preparation for the show’s first performance on Tuesday May 31st. To mark that day, a special public celebration will be held at Yonge-Dundas Square from 12 noon – 2 pm.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in Melbourne has sold over one million tickets, breaking the record for most tickets sold of any stage play in Australia ahead of the reimagined, one-part production opening at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre in May.
