Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) announces the casting for the first production of the 2018 Nutmeg Summer Series: "Disaster!", the hilarious new musical straight from Broadway. CRT welcomes the co-writing team of the show, as Jack Plotnick will direct and three-time Emmy Award nominee and SiriusXM Broadway host Seth Rudetsky will reprise the role he originated on Broadway (Ted Schneider). Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) presents the final production of the Nutmeg Summer Series: Newsies with Tony Award-winning score by Alan Menken and Jack Feldman. Tony Award-nominee Christopher d'Amboise will be both directing and choreographing this theatrical adaptation of the Disney movie. Directed by Artistic Director and three-time Tony Award nominee Terrence Mann, '1776' is the first show of the 2017 Nutmeg Summer Series and stars Broadway's verterans Jamie LaVerdiere and Gaelen Gilliland as John and AbiGail Adams, Richard Henry as Benjamin Franklin and Adam Harrington as John Dickinson.
