More than 200 supporters of TheatreSquared's Our Next Stage Campaign gathered in the company's near-complete, state-of-the-art new home on Saturday for a black tie celebration as the company announced the new milestone of ninety percent of building funds raised.

New Ohio Theatre annual Obie Award-winning Ice Factory Festival officially opens tonight. The festival will feature seven new works over seven weeks, June 26 - August 10, at New Ohio Theatre (154 Christopher St.) in New York City

Alice Ripley returns to The Green Room 42 on July 20th with her solo performance, Ripley Prescription for Love and Recovery. The Tony winning actress will be joined by music director Brad Simmons for the evening.

Broadway's next generation comes to LA in A Little New Music's 20th concert of new musical theatre songs in The Sorting Room's 2019 Summer Series at The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on June 26th at 7:00 pm. Kathy Deitch (B'way WICKED, FOOTLOOSE) will host. Multiple LA Ovation Award-winning composer Gregory Nabours (THE TROUBLE WITH WORDS, MARILYN! Amazon Studios started principal photography on visionary director Mike Cahill's (I Origins, Another Earth) Bliss this week in Los Angeles and Croatia. Academy Award nominees Salma Hayek and Owen Wilson are set to star in this sci-fi drama also written by Cahill. Endgame Entertainment's James D. Stern is producing, with the company's Lucas Smith serving as executive producer. Marsha Swinton (Hala) will also executive produce.

3-D Theatricals concludes its 10th Anniversary season with the Tony Award-winning musical comedy, SHREK The Musical, directed and choreographed by David F.M. Tony-nominated Broadway actor Jeremy Jordan will star as Neil Bogart in the upcoming film Spinning Gold, a film written and to be directed by Timothy Scott Bogart, son of the late musical idolmaker who ran Casablanca Records and died in 1982 of cancer and lymphoma at age 39.

Actors' Equity Association has presented Hadestown with the thirteenth annual ACCA Award for Outstanding Broadway Chorus. Presented by Equity's Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs (ACCA), the ACCA Award is the only industry accolade of its kind to honor the distinctive talents and contributions made by the original chorus members of a Broadway musical.

Company of Rogues announces the departure of their Artistic Director, Goldele Rayment, who founded the Sydney-based independent theatre company in 2015. Goldele leaves to pursue her artistic practice as a teacher, dramaturg and director, and to enjoy time with family after her recent wedding to educator Aston Kwok.

Life truly is better "Under the Sea!" Disney's The Little Mermaid has begun performances at the Alhambra Theatre in Dining in Jacksonville. Audiences will be transported to the bottom of the ocean as they follow Ariel's story to becoming human, accompanied by twists, turns, and excitement. Audience members of all ages will be completely captivated by the performance.
