WAM Theatre Announces Beneficiaries For Fall Mainstage Production Of PIPELINE

It was a picture perfect Berkshire evening on Wednesday, July 24, as WAM Theatre supporters packed The Stationery Factory in Dalton. They celebrated and supported the company's first decade of acclaimed theatrical productions and support of organizations that work to empower women and girls, at WAM's sold-out 10th Anniversary Gala, hosted by Berkshire favorite Ty Allan Jackson.

Brooks. You Can't Fake the Funk (A Journey Through Funk Music) will be performed July 20- September 8, 2019 at the Black Ensemble Theater Cultural Center, 4450 N. Clark Street in Chicago.The press opening is Sunday, July 28 at 3:00pm.

Sepideh Moafi Joins Cast of THE L WORD: GENERATION Q

Sepideh Moafi has joined the highly anticipated THE L WORD: GENERATION Q as a series regular which will premiere this fall on Showtime.  In addition, sje will soon be seen reprising her role as Loretta in critically acclaimed series “The Deuce,” created by “The Wire's” David Simon and George Pelecanos. The series will return for its third and final season on September 9th.

The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) and Sharp Women, LLC present Overture the Musical, a new story celebrating the extraordinary grass-roots efforts to save the Kansas City Philharmonic, with music and lyrics by Krista Eyler, book by Krista Eyler and Barbara Nichols. Margery Deutsch Announces Retirement Plans At Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra

Now in her 34th season with the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra (MYSO), Margery Deutsch has announced her plans to retire from her role as Music Director of Senior Symphony, the flagship orchestra, at the end of the 2019-20 season. In consultation with the board chair and a small advisory group of board directors, we are delighted to announce that Ms. Deutsch will transition into the first Music Director Laureate in MYSO's history, in recognition of her long-standing commitment to musical artistry and education. Her tenure saw the expansion of MYSO's reach internationally as she led tours throughout the world including China, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Canada, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Scotland, Argentina, Uruguay, and Ireland, as well as in the United States.

MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. To Conclude After Seven Seasons on ABC

ABC announced today that “Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” the longest-running Marvel television series, will end after seven seasons. The final 13 episodes are scheduled to air next summer. Season six is currently airing FRIDAYS at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and will air its finale on Aug. 2 with a special two-hour episode.
