On this day in 2016, the first Broadway revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats opened at the Neil Simon Theater!

Full casting has been announced for the touring production of the new musical COME FROM AWAY. COME FROM AWAY will begin performances at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre in October 2018.

Broadway legend Andrew Lloyd Webber's high-octane Broadway and West End hit School of Rock - The Musical is coming to North Texas. The hilarious new musical will premiere at the Music Hall at Fair Park August 15-26, 2018, presented by Dallas Summer Musicals and Broadway Across America. The tour will then head to Fort Worth where it will play at Bass Performance Hall August 28 - September 2, 2018 presented by Performing Arts Fort Worth.

Take the journey! Casting has been announced for the North American tour of the critically-acclaimed Broadway production of ANASTASIA. This production features a book by celebrated playwright Terrence McNally, a lush, new score by Stephen Flaherty (music) and Lynn Ahrens (lyrics) and direction by Tony Award-winning director Darko Tresnjak. She's back where she belongs! Last night, at Broadway's Shubert Theatre, Bette Midler returned to the title role in the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival of Hello, Dolly!

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Bette Midler, who received unanimous raves and every Broadway acting honor, including the 2017 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her 'perfect, once-in-a-lifetime Dolly' (New York Magazine), will return to the title role in the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival of Hello, Dolly! tonight, July 17, for a strictly limited six-week-only engagement.

In the video below watch as Bernadette Peters takes her final bow in HELLO, DOLLY! on Broadway alongside co-star Victor Garber. Two-time Tony Award winner Bernadette Peters began performances on Saturday evening, January 20, and played her final performance July 15th.

The Menier Chocolate Factory today announces full casting for the UK premiere of Jordi Galceran's The Gronholm Method. Making his UK directorial debut, BT McNicholl directs Jonathan Cake (Frank), Greg McHugh (Carl), Laura Pitt-Pulford (Melanie) and John Gordon Sinclair (Rick). The production opens on 22 May, with previews from 10 May, and runs until 7 July.
