Underbelly has announced the UK company for BATSU!. Having recently expanded to London from Chicago and New York, the Japanese game show inspired event has since made Underbelly Boulevard its home.
Batsu: it’s not subtle, it’s not for the sober and definitely isn’t suitable for children. The ballsy, boozy gameshow from across the pond invades London for some late-night improv comedy shenanigans at the new venue Underbelly Soho.
The Southbank Centre has announced an ambitious free multi-artform programme as part of Christine and the Queens highly anticipated Meltdown festival, taking place this summer, Friday 9 June until Sunday 18 June.

Following the success of Mulan Rouge, The Witches of Oz is a brand-new immersive experience combining comedy, cabaret, dining, and a sprinkle of political rivalry. One of the most well-respected creatives on the East London drag and queer scene, ShayShay has directed a technicolour marvel inspired by L. Frank Baum's iconic world of witches, rainbows, and magical slippers. As a mixed race, Japanese-American/Irish queer person, ShayShay's original work celebrates themes of identity, gender diversity and Asian experiences as well as wider social issues.

Anyway you look at it, the concept of The Vaults' Mulan Rouge – a dinner/cabaret mashup of Disney’s Mulan and musical Moulin Rouge – is both exciting and bonkers. But definitely bonkers.
