Saturday night, October 2nd saw a glittering one time only concert of The Sound Of Broadway, A Salute To Jonathan Tunick...Broadway's preeminent orchestrator and Sharon resident.

Diablo Regional Arts Association's annual On Broadway Gala returned this year to mark the official reopening of the Lesher Center for the Arts. Leaders in the arts and civic communities came together in downtown Walnut Creek to celebrate the organization's reopening and support its work at the forefront of arts and culture in the East Bay.

Cabaret veteran, actress, singer, comedian and storyteller Sharon Ruben will bring her “Broadway Journey through life” production, 2 Guys and a Doll Do Broadway to the Delray Beach Playhouse and the Mizner Park Cultural Center on November 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.  Joining her on stage will be two of South Florida's top talents, actor/director Jonathan Van Dyke, and actor/cabaret artist Michael Scott Ross.

Roundabout Theatre Company will present the new Broadway production of the Tony Award nominated and Olivier Award-winning musical Caroline, or Change, which begins previews tomorrow, October 8.  

On October 16 at 8 PM at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music, Talea Ensemble conducted by James Baker will perform the U.S. premieres of award-winning works by 2020 Azrieli Music Prize (AMP) laureates.
