Under the direction of Bill Kaufman, this fast-paced laugh riot adapted from the hit 1985 film, which in turn was adapted from the classic board game, 'is mostly silly and engagingly fun.

Bergen County Players (BCP) continues its 85th season with Steel Magnolias, written by Robert Harling and directed by Ellyn Essig. Steel Magnolias will run February 17th through March 10th with curtain at 8 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 pm on Sundays. All performances will take place at the Little Firehouse Theatre, 298 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell. Religious tolerance gets an intra-ethnic twist in the Bergen County Players production of "The Last Night of Ballyhoo." Written by playwright Alfred Uhry, of "Driving Miss Daisy" fame, Ballyhoo won the 1997 Tony Award for best play. This production, directed by Carol Fisher, starts its run on Saturday, October 22, ending on Saturday, November 12. Curtain goes up for Friday and Saturday performances at 8 pm, with Sunday matinees at 2 pm. It will be presented at the Little Firehouse Theatre, 298 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell.

Del Shores' SORDID LIVES is a modern day comedy filled with hilarious slapstick humor and heart-warming moments. It tells a convoluted tale of a wacky Texas family who must learn to accept each other for who they are, even if it means sacrificing long held beliefs and values.
