The Old Globe presents the Arena Stage production of Pulitzer Prize winner Lawrence Wright's thrilling new play CAMP DAVID, directed by Arena Stage's artistic director, Molly Smith.
Full casting has been announced for musical BUGSY MALONE, which returns to the Lyric Hammersmith for a limited 12-week run following the critically acclaimed, Olivier-nominated 2015 production. Starring a diverse range of talented young performers aged nine and over, the lead roles will be performed by three different casts in rotation. Several members of 2015 production are returning, alongside talented youngsters making their professional debut.
In conjunction with the West Coast premiere of Camp David, The Old Globe will hold a free screening of the film The Citizen Egyptian film star and political activist Khaled Nabawy, who stars as Anwar Sadat in the Globe's production of Camp David. The film, which explores the search for the American Dream within the American reality, will screen on Monday, May 23, 2016, at 6:30 p.m. in the Globe's Hattox Hall. KPBS Arts & Culture Reporter and Cinema Junkie Beth Accomando will introduce the film and moderate a short Q&A discussion with Nabawy immediately after. The Playwrights' Center and Jerome Foundation are pleased to announce the 2016-17 Jerome Fellows, Many Voices Fellows and Many Voices Mentees. The Jerome Fellowship for emerging playwrights is the Jerome Foundation's longest-awarded program, entering its 40th year. The Many Voices Fellowship was created in 1994 in partnership with the Jerome Foundation and significantly expanded in 2013.
More than 400 guests joined Olympians and stars of stage and screen to show their support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) students at the annual Point Honors gala the landmark New York Public Library last night. The evening celebrated the accomplishments of Point Foundation's (Point), higher education scholarship recipients. More than $500,000 was raised for Point, the nation's largest scholarship-granting organization for LGBTQ students of merit.

Center Stage announces a 2016/17 homecoming season featuring four mainstage shows and a return to its Baltimore building after a year-long $28 million renovation.
