The combination of multi-format programming is a celebration of OSF’s continued commitment to presenting world-class theatre on its stages and its recent foray into groundbreaking digital programming, introducing fans, supporters, and new audiences worldwide to the company’s award-winning artistry.

The 2021 digital on-demand streaming season includes a limited-run schedule for favorites from the OSF archives beginning with Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare, directed by Shana Cooper; Manahatta by Mary Kathryn Nagle, directed by Laurie Woolery; and Snow in Midsummer by Frances Ya-Chu Cowhig, based on the classical Chinese drama The Injustice to Dou Yi That Moved Heaven and Earth and directed by Justin Audibert.

As the world catches glimpses of a return to normalcy and dares to imagine a time when we can once again gather together in our theatre spaces, The Old Globe will produce a hybrid of digital and in-person offerings that encompasses a broad range of thrilling theatre created by a diverse group of major talents.

Court Theatre, under the continuing leadership of Charles Newell, Marilyn F. Vitale Artistic Director, and Executive Director Angel Ysaguirre, presents a virtual presentation, Artists & Elders: A Bridge, A Gift, on December 10, 2020 at 7pm CST to mark the culmination of their collaboration with the Experimental Performance Initiative and For You.

The Old Globe today announced that it is moving the productions in its 2020 Summer Season to the summer of 2021, although exact dates have not been settled upon. The season's titles include a classic American musical, a new adaptation of a 20th century thriller, and two of Shakespeare's masterworks on the Globe's outdoor stage.

Long Wharf Theatre announced today the complete lineup for its 2020/21 Breaking Boundaries season. In the first season fully programmed by Artistic Director Jacob G. Padrón, the non-profit theatre is re-dedicating itself to its founding mission to present innovative art with the community at its center and is committed to creating work that galvanizes New Haven and revolutionizes the new American theatre. The season will include work by directors Tatiana Pandiani, Aneesha Kudtarkar and Patricia McGregor; playwrights Monet Hurst-Mendoza, Kristoffer Diaz and Madhuri Shekar; a radical reimagining of a classic Shakespeare tale adapted and directed by Shana Cooper; and a revival of the award-winning musical Jelly's Last Jam, with a book by George C. BorderLight International Theatre + Fringe Festival and Burning Coal Theatre Company will present Peter Pan and Wendy in Cleveland this summer. The original adaptation, created by director Lillian White in collaboration with the ensemble, is based on J.M. Barrie's beloved novel and premiered in Raleigh, North Carolina in 2017. Showtimes are July 26th at 7:30 pm and July 27th at 1:30 pm and 7:00 pm at the Old Stone Church (Memorial Hall) in Cleveland's Public Square. Tickets can be purchased for the individual shows for $12, or with a "Binge-on-Fringe!" discount pass of four ($40) or eight ($70) tickets. BorderLight International Theatre + Fringe Festival is a new festival of contemporary theatre featuring 100 theatrical performances by companies from around the world.
