Diablo Ballet Celebrates the New Year With the Second Program Of Its 2019-2020 Season, BALANCHINE & BEYOND

Diablo Ballet presents the second program of their 26th season, Balanchine & Beyond, Feb 7 a?" 8 at the Del Valle Theatre in Walnut Creek. The programs features selections from five ballets including George Balanchine's, Who Cares? set to the music of Gershwin; the choreographic debut of company dancer Michael Wells; the bravura Esmerelda; and the celebration of female choreographers with works by Sally Streets and Penny Saunders.

Stewart Copeland's New Opera ELECTRIC SAINT to Premiere in Weimar in 2020

In a working partnership approaching three decades, composer Stewart Copeland and librettist Jonathan Moore bring their latest opera 'Electric Saint' to Kunstfest Weimar in September of 2020. The project is a co-commission of the innovative Kunstfest alongside Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar (DNT). The world premiere performance will take place at Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar on September 6, 2020, with seven subsequent performances in Weimar.

The Philadelphia Youth Orchestra's All-Brass Ensemble, Bravo Brass Will Present BRAND NEW BRASS

The Philadelphia Youth Orchestra's (PYO) all-brass ensemble, Bravo Brass, will present a concert of recent compositions and fresh arrangements of holiday favorites entitled 'Brand New Brass' at the historic St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Burlington, New Jersey on Sunday, December 1 at 3 p.m. St. Mary's is located at 145 West Broad Street, Burlington, NJ. The performance will be led by Paul Bryan, the Director and Conductor of Bravo Brass.
