Nickel Creek confirms co-headline tour with Andrew Bird this summer. Newly confirmed stops include Boise's Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden, Minneapolis' Surly Brewing, Charlottesville's Ting Pavilion, Asheville's Rabbit Rabbit, Atlanta's Coca-Cola Roxy and Charleston's Firefly Distillery among many others.

Overture Center and True Endeavors present Grammy-award winning trio Nickel Creek with special guests The Staves on Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 7:30 p.m. in Overture Hall.

Moonbox Productions, winner of numerous IRNE and Elliot Norton Awards, will present Legally Blonde: The Musical, with music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin and a book by Heather Hach, based on the novel Legally Blonde by Amanda Brown.

Nickel Creek—mandolinist Chris Thile, violinist Sara Watkins and guitarist Sean Watkins—were featured on “CBS Saturday Morning” this past weekend as part of their “Saturday Sessions” series, performing three songs from their acclaimed new album, Celebrants: “Where the Long Line Leads,” “Holding Pattern” and “To The Airport.”  Watch the video now!

Across 18 tracks, the group addresses love, friendship and time with lyrics both poetic and plain-spoken, as they see bridges built, crossed, burned and rebuilt. Recorded at Nashville’s RCA Studio A, the album was produced by longtime collaborator Eric Valentine (Queens of the Stone Age, Grace Potter, Weezer) and features Mike Elizondo on bass.

Building around solid community and great songs, siblings Sara and Sean Watkins began their Watkins Family Hour shows at L.A.'s beloved Largo nightclub two decades ago. Twenty years later, the pair are still pushing the limits of their original vision, consistently inviting new members to the fold to tackle devastatingly good tunes.

From the very beginning of Sara and Sean Watkins’ Watkins Family Hour shows at Los Angeles’s Largo nightclub, their focus has been on musical community; building, sharing, and growing.

With their new album, Vol. II, the Watkins returned to the recording studio with a host of long-time friends and Watkins Family Hour band mates like Jon Brion, Jackson Browne, Madison Cunningham, Lucius, Gaby Moreno, Benmont Tench, and Willie Watson. The group has shared “(Remember Me) I’m the One Who Loves You” from Vol. II.

Jamie Drake releases her new album New Girl via AntiFragile Music. She is also sharing the video for the LP’s “Its A New Life.” Leading to the release of New Girl Jamie has shared a handful of singles - “Is There Something Wrong With Me?,” the album’s title track “New Girl,”  “Beginnings” and “Easy Target.'

Drake has previously shared the album’s title track “New Girl,”  “Beginnings” and “Easy Target,” which Buzzbands LA called “a free-flowing, vocally warm pop song in the vein of ’60s and ’70s AM radio hitmakers.” 48 Hills labeled it a “warm open hug of tune.” 

Drake has shared the LP’s title track. The Bossa Nova influenced “New Girl” depicts Jamie’s gypsy-like childhood with a twinkle in her eye. Drake has previously shared “Beginnings” and “Easy Target,” which Buzzbands LA called “a free-flowing, pop song in the vein of ’60s and ’70s AM radio hitmakers.” 48 Hills labeled it a “warm open hug of tune.”
