Winsome Brown, the actress and writer who enjoyed considerable success with her solo play THIS IS MARY BROWN at La MaMa last year, returns to the stage with her newest work, HIT THE BODY ALARM, presented by The Performing Garage (33 Wooster St.), with previews set to begin September 20 prior to the solo play's official opening night September 22. Directed by Brad Rouse and Winsome Brown, HIT THE BODY ALARM is scheduled to run through October 2, 2016.

On Thursday, June 16th Third Rail Projects will celebrate the 200th performance of their critically acclaimed production of THE GRAND PARADISE, a fully immersive, multi-sensory experience in which visitors travel to a tropical paradise. Performances take place at The Grand Paradise, a venue in Bushwick, Brooklyn custom-built for the production, where it opened on January 30th and became one of Off-Broadway's biggest hits of the season.  A post-performance celebration will follow the 200th performance on June 16th. The general public is invited to stop by Bushwick's newest Tiki Bar sensation The Shipwreck Lounge at The Grand Paradise (383 Troutman Street), beginning at 9:30pm. Grab a tasty tropical beverage and hang out with cast and company members all evening as they celebrate this milestone.

New York Classical Theatre - New York City's ONLY all-free Off-Broadway theatre - will celebrate William Shakespeare's life and the 400th anniversary of his death with the company's 17th season featuring two of his most magical plays of romance - A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Winter's Tale.

Due to unforeseen permitting delays with the NYC Department of Buildings, preview performances of THE GRAND PARADISE have been postponed until 2016. The date of the first preview is still TBA , but an official opening date has been set for January 30, 2016.

Third Rail Projects' critically acclaimed Off-Broadway production of THEN SHE FELL will celebrate its 1000th performance on Friday, August 15th. This immersive theater event is inspired by the life and writings of Lewis Carroll (Alice in Wonderland). It is written, directed, designed and choreographed by Zach Morris, Tom Pearson and Jennine Willett and in collaboration with The Company. Performances of this open-ended run take place at The Kingsland Ward at St. Johns, a century-old institutional building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn that allows the action to play out on 3 floors. JJJ Productions in Association with Culture Project and Aaron Grant Theatrical, Inc have announced that the world premiere of THE ANTHEM, an original musical lovingly inspired by the classic Ayn Rand Novella, 'Anthem', with a book by Gary Morgenstein, music by Jonnie Rockwell and lyrics by Erik Ransom will begin previews tonight, May 20, 2014, Off-Broadway at Culture Project's Lynn Redgrave Theatre on 45 Bleecker Street. This musical helmed by Rachel Klein officially opens on Thursday, May 29, 2014.
