Mile Square Theatre, Hudson County's leading professional theatre, moves its hit world premiere production of The Net Will Appear to the Off-Broadway venue 59E59 Theater, in a co-production with The Collective NY. The Net Will Appear is a heartwarming comedy of an unlikely friendship between the feisty 9-year-old Rory and her septuagenarian neighbor Bernard, played by film, TV, and stage actor Richard Masur.

Playwright and director Anthony P. Pennino has announced the world premiere of his play Christ Detained by the Department of Homeland Security as part of the 2017 Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. The play stars Joseph Jones as Jesus of Nazareth and Karl Knapp as Special Agent Clyde Hill. The first performance is Wednesday June 14 at 7:30 pm.
