Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) and Education at Roundabout (Jennifer DiBella, Director of Education) will present the eighth annual Student Theatre Arts Festival, hosted by Roundabout actor (Too Heavy For Your Pocket) and 2018 Lucille Lortel nominee Brandon Gill.

CBS today unveiled its 2018-2019 primetime lineup featuring three new comedies, five new dramas and the return of the critically acclaimed MURPHY BROWN. The new series will join 24 returning hits to build on the success of America's Most Watched Network.

According to Deadline, CBS has announced that they have placed a series order on the new comedy called FAM. Written by Corinne Kingsbury, the show explores family dynamics after a woman's half-sister who comes to live with her and her fiancé. Scott Elliswill direct the pilot. The Theatre World Awards Board of Directors, Dale Badway, President, have announced, today, the 74th Annual Theatre World Awards Ceremony will take place at Circle in the Square. Theatre World Award Alum Victor Garber (Hello, Dolly!) will receive the 6th Annual John Willis Award for Lifetime Achievement In The Theatre, celebrating his 46th year on the Broadway stage.

On Monday, May 7, Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director/CEO) will host their fourth annual Casino Night, at the American Airlines Theatre (227 W. 42nd St). All proceeds benefit Roundabout Theatre Company's many programs, including the Education programs, the Theatrical Workforce Development Program and Artist Residencies.

The Old Globe's 2017-2018 Season continues with today's announcement of the complete cast and creative team for the Globe-commissioned world premiere of Anna Ziegler's new American play The Wanderers, directed by Barry Edelstein, the Globe's Erna Finci Viterbi Artistic Director. The Wanderers will run April 6 - May 6, 2018 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Tickets start at $30.00 and are on sale to the general public now. Previews run April 6-12. Opening night is Friday, April 13 at 8:00 p.m.

February 24, 2018, Lindsey Ferrentino and Scott Ellis spoke about Amy and the Orphans with education dramaturg Ted Sod as part of Roundabout Theatre Company's lecture series.

Amy and the Orphans is full of design challenges. For starters, it is a road trip play. Lindsey Ferrentino has written a play that has 18 scenes in 13 locations and in which there is no home base. Every location she describes is transient and impersonal, and most of the scenes take place in public locations. As a designer, the question becomes why?

New York City staple Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced that Tony & Emmy Award winner Stockard Channing will return to the New York stage in the Off-Broadway premiere of APOLOGIA, by Alexi Kaye Campbell (The Pride). APOLOGIA will be directed by three-time Obie Award winner Daniel Aukin (Bad Jews, Skintight). Channing returns to the role of "Kristin" in Apologia following an acclaimed run in London's West End in 2017.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director/CEO), has just announced that  Edward Barbanell will play the title role in Amy and the Orphans on Wednesday and Saturday matinee performances for the remainder of the limited run. During those performances, the role of "Amy" will be referred to as "Andy."

Tone Bell Joins Nina Dobrev On New CBS Comedy Pilot FAM

According to The Hollywood Reporter, VAMPIRE DIARIES star Nina Dobrev has been cast in the new CBS comedy FAM. Her character's name is Clem. As previously announced, the series is also set to star Brian Stokes Mitchell and Sheryl Lee Ralph. Read more about it from The Hollywood Reporter here!
