Ars Nova, one of the most adventurous Off Broadway companies (New York Times), announces NOVA BALL XX17, the non-profit's annual gala, which will take place on Monday, November 13 at Capitale (130 Bowery). NOVA BALL XX17 will celebrate the tenth anniversary of Play Group, Ars Nova's emerging playwrights' collective.

Ars Nova announces Nova Ball Remix, the non-profit's winter gala, which will take place on Monday, December 5 at Capitale (130 Bowery). Nova Ball Remix will celebrate Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 and the Broadway debuts of its writer and composer Dave Malloy, director Rachel Chavkin and originating producer Ars Nova. The evening features performances by Josh Groban, Denee Benton & the Broadway cast of The Great Comet, Heather Christian, Joe Iconis & Family, Anais Mitchel, Sky Pony, and more.

On April 7, Ars Nova hosted their Diamond Ball, not just another f*@%ing benefit. The evening honored Elizabeth Meriwether, Ars Nova's inaugural Playwright-in-Residence and creator of Fox's New Girl, Stephen Siderow, member of Ars Nova's Board of Directors and Co-founder and President of BlueMountain Capital, and Beau Willimon, founding member of Ars Nova's Play Group and creator of Netflix's House of Cards. Renowned investigative theatre company The Civilians celebrates its 10th season of creating new work with BENEFIT X - an evening of stage and screen stars performing the songs of Michael Friedman (BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON) - set for Monday, May 2, beginning at 7:00pm at one of New York City's hottest new cultural venues, Le Poisson Rouge (158 Bleecker Street).
