Today, Jermyn Street Theatre announces the casting for Edward Einhorn's breath-taking wedding farce, The Marriage of Alice B. Toklas by Gertrude Stein.

Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl is set to be presented by The Mason Players. It will appears at George Mason University TheaterSpace (de Laski Performing Arts Building, Room: A105) on the Fairfax Campus, 4400 University Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030. The play runs from March 3rd through the 6th, with shows on the 3rd-5th at 8pm and shows on the 5th-6th at 2pm. Eurydice tickets are $30 for general admission and $15 for students, faculty/staff, and seniors.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley announces that it has partnered with Stanford University again to present New Works Next Generation, a play festival offering three dynamic new plays about race and identity, non-binary sexualities, and ethnic oppression in times of crisis.

Gamut Theatre presents its Spring Showcase Production: Orlando. Originally written by Virginia Woolf and adapted for the stage by Sarah Ruhl, this production runs March 12-27, 2022.

Theatre Pro Rata is producing Orlando by Sarah Ruhl at The Crane Theater this spring under the direction of Carin Bratlie Wethern. Ruhl’s theatrical adaptation of Virginia Woolf’s novel premiered in New York City in 2010 and artfully plays with the attributes of gender, sexuality, identity, and freedom in both blithe and earnest ways.

Theatre Communications Group has announced the publication of Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl. Eurydice was originally published by TCG Books in The Clean House and Other Plays in 2006 and is now available as a stand-alone edition.

Today's episode features Todd Almond, who is known for his singular songwriting in addition to his work as an accomplished performer. Almond traced his love for the arts back to his youth. 'For most of my childhood, instead of getting a story at bedtime, my dad would sit at the edge of my bed and play a Beatles song or a John Denver song. Music as an acceptable language was introduced to me right away. I am always grateful to my dad for that.'
