'Broadway Up, Guns Down' is charity benefit concert in response to the tragic mass shooting that occurred at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida. Tonight, June 27th, at 8pm, Broadway artists will unite to uplift through song honoring the beautiful lives lost. All funds raised will go directly to the Zebra Coalition in Orlando, FL. A LGTBQ youth based non-for-profit currently offering assistance in Orlando.

Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announced today that Ben Jacoby, previously seen in the US Tour of Phantom of the Opera, will step into the role of 'Barry Mann' in Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, beginning the week of February 29, 2016. Jacoby will take over for Tony Award nominee Jarrod Spector, whose last performance is scheduled for Sunday, February 28, 2016. Beautiful - The Carole King Musical plays at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street).

BroadwayWorld is excited to report that the first national tour of BEAUTIFUL - The Carole King Musical, the smash hit musical about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter, has recouped in just four months on the road. The Broadway production of BEAUTIFUL, which opened on Broadway on January 12, 2014, celebrates two years tonight at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street).

On November 23, 2015, Sing For Your Seniors hosted the latest in its series of Broadway Sessions with cast members from BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL for the residents of The Lillian Booth Actors Home of The Actors Fund. The musical performance included songs of the performers' choosing as well of songs from BEAUTIFUL. Residents and their family, nurses, and staff enjoyed two one-hour sessions on different floors, as well as a meet-and-greet visit with the cast following the performances. Scroll down for photos from the event!

Beginning today, October 5th, 'Sticks And Stones,' from POLKADOTS: THE COOL KIDS MUSICAL, is available for free download in honor of World Day of Bullying Prevention.

POLKADOTS: The Cool Kids Musical, a new musical celebrating the diversity among children, will have a private industry reading today, August 28th, in New York City. Creator Douglas Lyons (Five Points: An American Musical) is the show's lyricist and co-composed the score alongside Greg Borowsky (Sony ATV). The book is by Melvin Tunstall III.

On August 28th the completely original new show Polkadots: The Cool Kids Musical will get it's first private industry readings in NYC. The all-star cast features Gerard Canonico (Spring Awakening) as Sky Square, Brittney Johnson (Beautiful) as Lily Polkadot, Talia Thiesfield (HBO's Veep) as Penelope Square and Russell Arden Koplin (Les Miserables) as Mrs. Square/Mama Square.

The full cast of Beautiful-The Carole King Musical, the smash hit musical about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter, just performed in City Parks Foundation's SummerStage festival in Central Park. The free event was comprised of all of the classic hits from the Broadway production, performed concert-style in Central Park.
