Ghostlight Records has announced the launch of the new series 'Ghostlight Shines On...' presenting exclusive audio commentary on some of its major recordings from Broadway and beyond. Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announced today that Jessie Mueller, who won rave reviews and the 2014 Tony Award for her heartwarming portrayal of Carole King, has extended her contract in Beautiful - The Carole King Musical until March 6, 2015. Her co-stars, Tony Award-nominees Anika Larsen and Jarrod Spector, who play legendary songwriting couple Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann, will remain in the show until September 2015.

Capitalized at $13 million, Beautiful has been breaking box office records at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street) since it opened in January and now becomes the first new musical of the 2013-2014 Season to recoup.

Campbell, previously with Jersey Boys, will step into the role of 'Gerry Goffin' in Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, beginning Tuesday, September 23, 2014. Campbell will take over for Jake Epstein. Beautiful - The Carole King Musical opened on Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street) on Sunday, January 12, 2014, where it has broken all box office records and continues to play to standing-room-only crowds nightly.

The Original Broadway Cast Recording of the Tony Award-nominated Best Musical Beautiful -- The Carole King Musical has debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Broadway Albums Chart, it was announced today.

The Original Broadway Cast Recording of Beautiful - The Carole King Musical is now available for purchase in stores and online. The CD, produced by Jason Howland, Steve Sidwell and Billy Jay Stein, with Kurt Deutsch serving as Executive Producer, includes a 28-page color booklet with full lyrics, rare and never-before-seen archival and show photos, and liner notes by Beautiful book writer Douglas McGrath.

According to the Daily Mail, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical is headed across the pond and will run at the Aldwych Theatre in the West End in 'early 2015'. No word yet on whether or how the show will be recast or specific dates for the run. BWW will keep you updated as we know more!
