A spectacle like no other awaits millions as the 92nd annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, America's favorite tradition, kicks-off the holiday season. The MACY'S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE is the nation's biggest and most anticipated holiday celebration.

This December, the iconic Rainbow Room is decking its halls for the season with three special brunches that will include a grand buffet, specialized chef stations and an appearance from Santa Claus. Prepared by Executive Chef Mathew Woolf, the grand buffet will feature an impressive selection of elevated brunch classics and gourmet breakfast offerings such as made-to-order eggs benedict, French toast and house made waffles with decadent toppings like banana custard, bourbon whipped cream and bacon infused syrup, as well as New York bagels with a variety of smoked fish and spreads.

The Lakewood Playhouse is proud to present the Second Show of our Landmark 80th Anniversary Season: The beautiful story of how one young girl's letter change the holiday, and the world, forever.  

It's the most wonderful time of the year! NEWCITY, 1457 N. Halsted Ave., invites guests of all-ages to celebrate the season at their Winter Carnival on Saturday, December 8 from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. in the plaza. Guests can enter to win prizes from a variety of NEWCITY retailers, participate in holiday arts and crafts, play winter games, and face-painting will be available to add to the fun at this free, family-friendly event. The jolly man himself, Santa Claus, will also make an appearance at the carnival, perfect for holiday photo opportunities. Live entertainment, delicious hot cocoa and more will also be offered to make spirits bright.

This holiday season, the Utah Symphony presents a jam-packed program that will entertain kids of all ages from one to 92. Between the magnificence of a 2,000-voice audience sing-a-long with Handel's "Messiah," to show stoppers Celtic Woman and Portland's "Little Orchestra," Pink Martini, with guests vocalists The von Trapps and NPR's Ari Shapiro, there is something to dazzle everyone this Christmas season. The Upper Darby Summer Stage Shooting Stars will present their annual Holiday Spectacular on December 7 at 7:30 p.m. and December 8 at 2:00 p.m. Audiences will experience an exciting musical showcase of song and dance performed to favorite holiday tunes. Performances take place at the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center, 601 N. Lansdowne Ave in Drexel Hill.

Director Linda Fortunato has cast Neil Friedman as Kris Kringle, Stella Rose Hoyt as Susan, Courtney Jones as Doris and Christopher Kale Jones as Fred for Theatre at the Center's Miracle On 34th Street: The Musical. The 92nd Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade® has added Kelly Clarkson, Grammy Award-winning artist and coach on NBC's “The Voice,” to its list of spectacular live performances on 34th Street.

San Gabriel Valley (CSArts-SGV) partners with the City of Duarte and City of Hope to showcase its bright and talented students in an original holiday production at the city's annual Family Holiday Tree Lighting and Fiesta. The community is invited to enjoy a festival atmosphere surrounding the lighting of the city's official tree, including food trucks, holiday-themed crafts and games, student performances and Santa Claus himself! This family friendly event is free to attend and takes place on Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 6:30 p.m. on the City of Hope main campus (1500 E. Duarte Road., Duarte, CA 91010).

Back by popular demand, On The Rocks Theatre Company remounts their festive holiday bar pageant, Edelweiss, in the Dixon Place Lounge. The production is written by On The Rocks co-founders Christopher Ford & Dakota Rose with original music by their frequent collaborator Andrew R. Butler. Ms. Rose helms the production as director.
