"The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear." Alhambra Theatre and Dining's Christmas program, Elf the Musical, has arrived and is entertaining audiences of all ages! The musical based on the movie Elf, tells the story of how Buddy the Elf finds out he is actually a human and his journey to New York City to meet his father. Buddy runs into all sorts of obstacles and situations that is sure to keep audiences laughing. The show is sure to put all audiences in the Christmas spirit!

“America's Got Talent” season 12 winner and audience favorite Darci Lynne Farmer is celebrating the holidays Oklahoma style in her first original TV special, “Darci Lynne: My Hometown Christmas,” airing Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. For viewers of all ages, the special will celebrate family togetherness at the holidays.  

The Emmy®-winning special produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios “Disney Prep & Landing” will air as part of Disney|ABC's special “25 Days of Christmas” programming event, THURSDAY, DEC. 13 (8:00-8:30 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network. (Rebroadcast. OAD: 12/8/09)

The Down Town Glee Club, now in its 91ist year of showcasing exquisite male choral singing with live musical accompaniment, presents its annual winter concert at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 240 E. 31st Street, NYC on Thursday, December 13, 2018. Conductor and musical director Grant Mech will lead the men in a program of popular and traditional vocal fare.

'Elf the Musical,' that is playing at Beef & Boards this past holiday weekend, left this reviewer longing to go home and watch the 2003 movie that inspired the traveling musical. But, that's not because I was disappointed.

If you have been even remotely close to a mall and/or department store during the Holiday season, you know well the Scene. Often found within the center of the shopping hub-bub and cleverly placed near the toys, an onslaught of seasonal scenery is in sight: adorable gingerbread houses, cotton-candy like 'snow' drifts that are replete with gumdrops and woodland creatures and candy canes that are 4-8 feet tall that line a snow-covered road where you are assisted by happy helpers that support and guide your way. And we all know to whom that road leads...Santa Claus!!! Oh, the excitement builds just thinking about visiting with Ol' St. Nick, or is that anxiety and nausea?

With the turkey eaten and the black Friday deals purchased, Thanksgiving is officially in the rearview mirror and it's onward towards Christmas! ELF THE MUSICAL kicked off a three day run at The Washington Pavilion on Friday evening, bringing Christmas cheer to Sioux Falls the best way they know how, by 'singing loud for all to hear.'
