Westport Country Playhouse will stage the gripping drama, "Skeleton Crew," written by 2018 MacArthur "Genius Grant" Fellow Dominique Morisseau and directed by LA Williams, from June 4 through June 22. 

The Classical Theatre of Harlem (Ty Jones, Producing Artistic Director) presents A Christmas Carol in Harlem, based on the timeless work by Charles Dickens. A Christmas Carol in Harlem is adapted by Shawn Rene Graham, directed by Steve H. Broadnax III and choreographed by Tiffany Rea-Fisher. This re-imagining of the classic Christmas tale will include some original music and classic holiday carols tinged with gospel, hip-hop, pop and R&B influences, which celebrate the spirit of the season the Harlem way.

Is there anything that Mark Lamos can't do extremely well when it comes to theater? His latest show at the Westport Country Playhouse, Man of La Mancha, is beyond masterful, from the direction to the performances to the choreography to the set design. Even if you think you've seen this show at least once before, you haven't really seen it until you've seen Lamos's Man of La Mancha. Dale Wasserman's book, Mitch Leigh's music, and Joe Darion's lyrics are still delightful, but Lamos's magic touch adds so much more.

Colt Coeur is thrilled to announce that Zurich, a new play by Amelia Roper and directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt (The Women's Project's What We're Up Against, Colt Coeur's Dry Land), will make its world premiere as part of the company's 2017-2018 season. Presented as part of New York Theatre Workshop's inaugural NEXT DOOR series, Zurich will begin performances on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at The Fourth Street Theatre (located at 79 East 4th Street, between Cooper Square and 2nd Avenue), with a final performance set for May 5, 2018. Soho Rep. (Sarah Benson, Artistic Director; Cynthia Flowers, Executive Director), has extended the world premiere of Aleshea Harris's Relentless Award-winning Is God Is, directed by Taibi Magar, a second time, through March 31.

In response to popular demand, Soho Rep. (Sarah Benson, Artistic Director; Cynthia Flowers, Executive Director) extends the world premiere of Aleshea Harris's Relentless Award-winning Is God Is, directed by Taibi Magar by two weeks, through March 25. In this play, which dauntlessly cracks jokes as it eviscerates, twin sisters Anaia (Alfie Fuller) and Racine (Dame-Jasmine Hughes) undertake a murderous journey from the Dirty South to the California desert, seeking payback for a horrendous act. Is God Is treats both morality and genre as notions to be exploded, drawing on the ancient, the modern, the tragic, the Spaghetti Western, hip-hop and Afropunk in its subversion of theatrical constructs.

Ed Sylvanus Iskandar directs a cast that includes Jeff Biehl, Jennifer Ikeda, Peter Kim, Orville Mendoza, KK Moggie and Jeffrey Omura. TACT/The Actors Company Theatre presents the Off Broadway premiere of HARD LOVE, the searing 2003 play by Israeli playwright Motti Lerner. This first play of the 2015/16 season -- the company's 23rd -- is directed by TACT Artistic & Executive Director Scott Alan Evans, who most recently directed Beyond Therapy by Christopher Durang. The show is currently playing at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre. The play celebrated its opening last night, October 11th, and performances continue through October 31, 2015.
