Six-time Emmy Award winner Ryan Murphy announced today on Instagram that he will host a special performance of THE PROM to benefit Hetrick Martin, GLAAD and The Trevor Project on Tuesday, April 9.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Lea Michele has tied the knot with Zandy Reich! The pair exchanged vows in front of their family and friends in an intimate ceremony last weekend in Napa, California, after getting engaged in April 2018.

“Queen Sugar,” the critically acclaimed drama series from Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Ava DuVernay (“A Wrinkle in Time,” “13th,” “Selma”), executive producer Oprah Winfrey and Warner Horizon Scripted Television, returns for its fourth season on OWN Wednesday, June 12 (9 p.m. ET/PT). Continuing a creative initiative established in the show's first season, series creator/executive producer DuVernay has once again assembled an all-female directing team for the fourth consecutive season. Season 4 directors include Cheryl Dunye, who will also serve as producing director, in addition to Carmen Marrón, Numa Perrier, Heidi Saman, Bola Ogun and Tchaiko Omawale, all of whom will be making their television directorial debut, with additional names to be announced.

On today's episode of Ellen, Ben Platt was a guest on the show! During the interview Platt explained why Ellen has been a huge inspiration regarding his sexuality, in relation to creating art as a singer/songwriter. The 25-year-old also talked about the possibility of becoming the youngest EGOT if he wins an Oscar, and what it was like working on Ryan Murphy's upcoming Netflix series, 'The Politician.'

Lea Michele is officially a married lady! The Broadway veteran tied the knot with longtime boyfriend Zandy Reich over the weekend in California. The happy couple got engaged in April 2018.

“Oscars Live on the Red Carpet,” the official pre-show for the most glamorous show in Hollywood, will give viewers live access to the night's nominees, performers and presenters beginning at 3:30 p.m. PST/6:30 p.m. EST on The ABC Television Network. The red carpet festivities will be hosted by actress and television personality Maria Menounos, award-winning journalist Elaine Welteroth, supermodel Ashley Graham, and actor and singer Billy Porter. Menounos, Welteroth and Graham will interview the nominees, performers and attendees as they arrive, while Porter provides all the fashion and glamour commentary on Oscar Sunday.

Ryan Murphy took to Instagram to share the latest update on new Netflix series, co-created by Ian Brennan. The series is titled HOLLYWOOD. He describes it as 'A love letter to the Golden Age of Tinseltown'.

Last night, Ben Platt stopped by 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert' for the television debut performance of 'Bad Habit.'

The 21st Costume Designers Guild Awards took place on Tuesday, February 19 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, celebrating excellence in film, television, and short form Costume Design as voted on by the Guild's membership. The CDG includes more than 1,000 Costume Designers and Illustrators working in motion pictures, television, commercials, music videos, and new media programs throughout the world.

Grammy®, TONY®, and Emmy® Award-winning artist Ben Platt today announces details of his highly anticipated North American headline tour, set to kick off May 3rd at Chicago Theatre in Chicago, IL. With stops throughout the US and Canada, the tour will come in support of Platt's debut solo LP Sing to Me Instead, set to arrive everywhere Friday, March 29th. The run will feature support from Wrabel and Ben Abraham and include a stop at New York's Beacon Theatre on May 14th, culminating with a show at LA's iconic Dolby Theatre on May 24th (full itinerary enclosed).

Julian McMahon will star in Dick Wolf's FBI spinoff, FBI: Most Wanted, for CBS, according to Deadline. McMahon will lead the backdoor pilot for FBI: Most Wanted, which will air as an episode of FBI in the spring. 

The Paley Center for Media today announced the initial group of talent who will be participating in PaleyFest LA 2019, which takes place March 15-24, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. PaleyFest LA gives fans access to special screenings, exclusive conversations, and behind-the-scenes scoops and breaking news from the stars and creative minds behind their favorite shows.

 Rosanna Arquette has joined Ryan Murphy's new Netflix series Ratched, according to Deadline. The show's star Sarah Paulson announced the casting news in a post on Instagram.
