Magic Monday - Spring into magic when Albie Selznick returns to the Santa Monica Playhouse with his trademark Magic Monday beginning April 1. Every Monday evening through the end of August will see a new and different lineup of world-class, award-winning magicians and outstanding variety acts. Get ready for an unforgettable season of show-stopping feats - including sleight of hand, interactive parlor magic and mind-blowing illusions.

Hosted by Albie Selznick (life-time member of the Magic Castle, creator/performer of hit theatrical magic show Smoke and Mirrors, numerous acting credits including Good Girls and the upcoming Ryan Murphy Netflix series The Politician with Gwyneth Paltrow and Ben Platt).

A different line-up every week, including performers such as Jon Armstrong (two-time "Close-up Magician of the year" at the Magic Castle), Simon Coronel (two-time award winner at the World Championship of Magic; fooled Penn and Teller on Fool Us), Ming Da (award-winning magician from Singapore), Andrew Goldenhersh (two-time "Parlor Magician of the Year" at the Magic Castle), Pop Haydn (seven-time Magic Castle "Magician of the Year"), Hillel "Mr. Balloon Man" (Argentinean master magician and clown), Bruce Gold: (Penn and Teller's Fool Us), Christopher Hart (played "The Thing" in The Addams Family films), Billy Kidd (from the U.K., she earned the only standing ovation from Penn & Teller on Fool Us and is a full-time wizard judge on Wizard Wars), David Kovac (named "Trickster Hero" by the Chicago Tribune), Krystyn Lambert (one of the most recognized females in magic, with her own solo act in Criss Angel's "MindFreak" Vegas show), Steve Owens (14-time Magic Award winner), Jonathan Levit (world renowned "magicians' magician" and consultant on the Now You See Me movies) Michael Rayner (America's Got Talent, The Late Late Show with James Corden, David Letterman), Max Maven: (multi-international award-winning mentalist), Ivan Pecel (nine-time world champion juggler), Steve Valentine (Scottish-American award-winning magician and actor best known as "Nigel Townsend" on Crossing Jordon), Naathan Phan(America's Got Talent, Masters of Illusion, Wizard Wars) William Schwartzman (at 14 years old, the youngest magician at the Magic Castle), Arthur Trace (only the eighth magician in the history of magic to be awarded the gold medal from The International Brotherhood of Magicians), Joel Ward (Penn and Teller's Fool US, Tosh.O, The Tonight Show) Jeki Yoo (close-up winner, Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques), and over 100 other acts
