GLAAD, the world's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) media advocacy organization, announced today that actor and performer Shangela will host the 30th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York, while CNN news anchor Anderson Cooper will present the Advocate For Change Award to previously announced honoree Madonna, on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the New York Hilton Midtown. Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning actress Rachel Brosnahan (“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”), model and activist Winnie Harlow, multiple Emmy and GLAAD Media Award-winning director and producer Ryan Murphy (“Pose”) will join previously announced special guests Samantha Bee (“Full Frontal”), CNN's Don Lemon, and the cast of FX's “Pose,” including 2017 GLAAD honoree Billy Porter. GLAAD previously announced that Sarah Jessica Parker will present the Vito Russo Award to Andy Cohen.

New York City's premier cabaret highlighting the talents of transgender, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming performers returns to The Duplex with the all new show, 'Make 'Em Laugh', for it's 8th performance at The Duplex on Saturday, April 27th at 6:30pm. The show is directed by Donnie Cianciotto, with Musical Direction by Anessa Marie. Cianciotto will also serve as the emcee for the evening.

Ryan Murphy was making it clear that last night belonged to The Prom. The six-time Emmy Award winner Ryan Murphy hosted a special performance of the hit show to benefit Hetrick Martin, GLAAD and The Trevor Project, and the performance was followed by an equally special curtain call announcement.

The adaptation will be the first project in Murphy's deal with Netflix. According to his Instagram, Murphy will be bringing the entire Broadway creative team on board for the project.

FX has set the premiere date for the second season of the award-winning and groundbreaking drama series Pose from Fox 21 Television Studios and FX Productions, it was announced today by Chuck Saftler, President, Program Strategy and COO, FX Networks. The ten-episode second season of Pose will debut on Sunday, June 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on FX.

On last night's episode of 'The Late Late Show with James Corden,' James Corden and Ben Platt tell the story of a life-long friendship using 9 different sets and 12 carefully curated songs all captured in one take. The performance included songs such as Dolly Parton's '9 to 5,' Adele's 'Hello,' and The Beatles' "With a Little Help from My Friends."

Ben Platt stopped by 'The Late Late Show with James Corden' to talk about his new album 'Sing to Me Instead' and to perform the single 'Older.' During the interview, James asks Platt about the end of his run on Broadway in 'Dear Evan Hansen,' and how he was finally able to let loose after laying very low during the run of production. And Ben explains how a combination of karaoke, Chinese food and Stranger Things was all he needed.

Ryan Murphy has revealed that the one and only Patti LuPone will join the cast of the hit FX series, Pose, according to Deadline.

Judith Light and Bette Midler have joined the cast of Ryan Murphy's upcoming Netflix series The Politician, starring Ben Platt, according to Deadline. In addition, Murphy also announced that Pose writer and director Janet Mock will helm an episode.

Netflix has announced that its original series from Ryan Murphy, The Politician, will launch on September 27.
