The core idea and its philosophical foundations are utterly compelling, so it’s a real shame that they bear very little weight against a shallow plot and uninteresting characters. Adam Lenson (credited as co-creator too) directs with profound empathy for the human race, trying hard to bring to life our harrowing need to feel connected. The material fails him.

Kris Bowers reimagines Madonna’s “Material Girl” and “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham,” a Jatin-Lalit/Lata Mangeshkar song from the hit 2001 Bollywood film of the same name. Duomo offers fresh takes of Alanis Morissette’s “You Oughta Know” and P!nk’s “What About Us.” Hannah V & Joe Rodwell, Steve Horner and Midnite String Quartet also contribute.

Producer Stacey Mindich announces a new booking period for the Olivier award-winning Dear Evan Hansen which reopened at the Noël Coward Theatre on 26 October 2021 and is now on sale to 22 October 2022.

From Creator Chris Van Dusen, the second season of Bridgerton follows Lord Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey), the eldest Bridgerton sibling and Viscount, as he sets out to find a suitable wife. The cast also includes Charithra Chandran, Nicola Coughlan, Adjoa Andoh, Lorraine Ashbourne, Harriet Cains, Bessie Carter, Shelley Conn, and more.

Dear Evan Hansen reopens at the Noël Coward Theatre on 26 October 2021 and is currently booking to 13 February 2022.

The returning  casts have been announced for all three productions of Dear Evan Hansen, each of them featuring the  acclaimed actors who were performing the title role in March 2020 at the time of the shutdown.

Sam Tutty returns to the role that won him the 2020 Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical.  He will be joined by returning cast members Lucy Anderson (Zoe Murphy), Doug Colling (Connor Murphy) and Marcus Harman (who will play Evan Hansen at certain performances), and more!

The reopening of Dear Evan Hansen in the West End has been delayed until 2021, WhatsOnStage reports. The exact date of re-opening has yet to be announced, but producers say the show will return 'as early as practical next year.'
