La Coordinación y la Compañía Nacional de Teatro del Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (Inbal) se unirán a la celebración del Día Mundial del Teatro con actividades presenciales y virtuales, entre las cuales destacan conferencias, talleres, funciones en la Ciudad de México y el interior de la República mexicana. 

The Dallas Opera will welcome world-renowned tenor Javier Camarena to the Winspear Opera House stage on Saturday, March 26, at 7:30pm. The recital, with pianist Ángel Rodríguez, will include beloved Neapolitan and Latin songs, and famous arias by composers including Verdi and Donizetti, for which Camarena has become known.

The Metropolitan Opera will welcome back its youngest opera lovers with a family-friendly holiday presentation of Mozart’s The Magic Flute for nine performances December 10, 2021–January 5, 2022. The Song of the Butterflies is Frigola Torrent’s first feature as director after producing Peruvian filmmaker Ernesto Cabellos’ Daughter of the Lake in 2015.
