Lauren McMillen from West Virginia is our lucky winner! She is a producer at a local news station & a huge Broadway fan! McMillen won two tickets to the November 9th performance of King Kong on Broadway.

The Actors Fund announced today that tickets are now on sale for a special screening of the original 1933 film King Kong, in partnership with the Jacob Burns Film Center (JBFC) as part of their ongoing film series, 'Life on the Stage: Conversation and Film.' The screening will be followed by a Q&A with members of the creative team of the upcoming Broadway musical

Rehearsals begin today, Monday, July 30, for the new musical King Kong. The production begins performances Friday, October 5 prior to a Thursday, November 8 opening night at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway).

Joining the previously announced Christiani Pitts, (A Bronx Tale) as Ann Darrow, and Eric William Morris (Mamma Mia!) as Carl Denham, will be Erik Lochtefeld (Misery, Metamorphoses) as Lumpy.

Producers Carmen Pavlovic (Global Creatures) and Roy Furman have announced first principal casting for the new musical King Kong. Christiani Pitts, currently starring in A Bronx Tale on Broadway, will star as Ann Darrow, and Eric William Morris, who played Sky in Mamma Mia!, will play Carl Denham.

Today, Elaine Paige and Alexandra Burke announced the nominations for the Olivier Awards 2018 with Mastercard, UK's most prestigious stage honours. At a ceremony held today at London's Caf de Paris, Aladdin's Trevor Dion Nicholas announced the nominees for the 18th Annual WhatsOnStage Awards. The announcement of the nominations marks the opening of the final voting stage which closes 31 January, with the winners announced at the annual Awards ceremony held on 25 February 2018 at the Prince of Wales Theatre.
