Dear Evan Hansen has been a long-awaited show for this reviewer and it did not disappoint. The show was inspired by the true story of Benj Pasek, the show's lyricist, who, after a high school classmate died of a drug overdose, witnessed classmates tell false stories of being part of the deceased student's life.

In two weeks, Broadway's Dear Evan Hansen comes Overture Center for eight performances in Overture Hall, starting Tuesday, May 10 and running through Sunday, May 15.

DEAR EVAN HANSEN Broadway’s Tony Award-winning Best Musical, will make its anticipated Miami premiere at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County from February 15-20, 2022. In a novel pandemic-era project, actor Daniel Robert Sullivan (Jersey Boys, Dear Evan Hansen, Motown) and stage manager Katelynn Cooper (Dear Evan Hansen, Matilda, School of Rock) have become the first people ever to document a journey down the entire length of the Bronx River.

The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and Cincinnati Pops have announced several updates to the 2021/22 schedule. The event will be co-hosted by Brooke Elliott, currently starring in the new Netflix series “Sweet Magnolias” and recently portrayed the lead role of Jane Bingum in Lifetime TV’s “Drop Dead Diva.” Sam Scalamoni, Skyline Theatre Company’s Co-Founder and Artistic Director, will be the event’s other co-host.

Today, ABC announced premiere dates for its scripted drama series slate, rounding out the network’s fall schedule. Dates for unscripted and comedy series were previously announced.
