Rising Phoenix Repertory Releases Second Issue of Theatre Literary Magazine, Caffe Cino

Rising Phoenix Repertory is pleased to announce the publication of the second issue of its theater literary magazine Caffe Cino, edited by Steve McMahon and Daniel Talbott. Inspired by Joe Cino and his original Caffe Cino in New York City's Greenwich Village, Talbott and McMahon invited a group of theater artists to contribute essays, interviews, and previously unpublished plays.

Craft Recordings to Re-Issue Filter's Debut 'Short Bus'

Los Angeles-Craft Recordings has confirmed plans to re-release the debut album from influential industrial rock band Filter. The platinum-selling Short Bus will be reissued on two vinyl configurations: black vinyl (available widely), plus a limited-edition white vinyl edition available only to indie record stores (1,000 available). Both have been mastered by George Horn and Anne-Marie Suenram at Fantasy Studios and pressed at Memphis Record Pressing.

The Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild Awards (MUAHS, IATSE Local 706) tonight announced winners of its Annual Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Awards in 23 categories of film, television, commercials and live theater. Winners in the film categories include "DARKEST HOUR," "PITCH PERFECT 3," "I, TONYA" and "GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Vol 2." Television winners include "GAME OF THRONES," "DANCING WITH THE STARS," "THE CROWN," "BIG LITTLE LIES," "FEUD: BETTE AND JOAN" and "AMERICAN HORROR STORY: CULT." Winners in the Daytime Television category were awarded to "THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL.' "HENRY DANGER" wins Best Children/Teen Program. Theatrical honors go to MAMMA MIA and the Commercial/ Music Video Award was presented to AMERICAN HORROR STORY: CULT - PROMOTIONAL CAMPAIGN.

The program includes a roster of more than 35 features, shorts, and documentaries by artists from Argentina, Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Lebanon, The Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, The United Kingdom, and the United States. The festival takes place on Thursday, March 1; Friday, March 2; and Saturday, March 3 at The Martin E. Our productions honestly explore the unique LGBT experience and cultural sensibilities in a life-affirming and respectful way.   TOSOS was originally formed in 1974 by playwright Doric Wilson. During its five-year existence, this first TOSOS featured new plays and revivals by playwrights from Brendan Behan and Noel Coward to Terrence McNally, Robert Patrick, Martin Sherman, and Lanford Wilson.
