Sundance 2015 Announces 'Spotlight', 'Park City at Midnight' and 'New Frontier' Selections

Sundance Institute announced today the films selected to screen in the 2015 Sundance Film Festival out-of-competition sections Spotlight and Park City at Midnight, as well as the films and installations to be featured in the New Frontier program. The Festival, which takes place January 22 to February 1 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah, is the centerpiece of the year-round public programs for the Institute, which also hosts 24 residency labs and grants more than $2.5 million to independent artists each year.

New Adaptation of Pirandello's FLOWER IN HIS MOUTH Opens at Phoenix Theatre Tonight

Phoenix Theatre Ensemble (PTE) announces that it will be presenting a freely adapted version of Luigi Pirandello's one-act play, The Man With a Flower in His Mouth for 4 performances only tonight 9/12 @ 8:00 pm; Saturday 9/13 @ 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm and Sunday September 14 @ 3:00 pm at the Wild Project at 195 East 3rd Street (between Avenues A and B).

August is looking very gay in Philadelphia with the fourth annual GayFest! - a festival of LGBT theater presented by Quince Productions at Plays & Players and two spaces in the Adrienne Theatre. This year's festival, today, August 5-23 at various theaters in Philadelphia, is bigger than ever, with three special events, four mainstage plays, and five one-night stands (of the theatrical variety, that is!).

New American Folk Theatre Presents KENNEDY'S CHILDREN, 11/22-24
